Smart Buildings

Buildings and their construction together account for 36 percent of global energy use and 39 percent of energy-related carbon dioxide emissions annually, according to the Uninated Nations Environment Program. 

Energy consumption is therefore one of the major challenges of Smart Building. Also, optimizing the resources used involves opening up building management systems, while placing user comfort at the center of service design.
